Interesting experience

Yesterday I went to the cinema - yes, a luxury thing when you have a baby, but this movie screening was different. It was a 'newbie' screening, in the middle of the day, just like a normal movie but with the difference that it was especially for new mums and their babies! So all mums left their prams outside the room and held the babies in their arms whilst watching the movie ('Yes Man' with Jim Carrey yesterday; quite funny), feeding when needed and leaving the room if they would cry too much.

I think it's a brilliant idea, especially 'cause new mums don't exactly have time to do these things otherwise. And also nice to get out and meet other mums. I'm sure I'll be going again!
